We have developed a robust ecommerce site using Magento for the product catalog and WordPress for the brochureware pages. We are now seeking someone with at least 2 years experience in Magento for two purposes:
1 - to review/audit the existing platform for quality control. We want to ensure the site was well built, the code is as efficient as it can be, and will work well into the future.
2 - we have more work to do on the site and want to find a developer that can help us on an ongoing basis.
We will pay an initial audit fee for your review and analysis and then can work together on an ongoing basis assuming good rapport from the initial relationship.
We do want your honest opinion on the quality of work, with any suggestions to fix anything that may be wary.
Future work will include:
- Adding more products to the portfolio
- Ongoing support assistance with updates to Magento, to keep the platform current
- Troubleshooting support as needed
- Adding the ecommerce functionality according to business rules when finalized (currently disabled and just showing products with no check out functionality)
- Integrating catalog with Amazon
- Integrating with a shipping provider
We do other web development work with other platforms as well, so we may request additional support with other sites from time to time, again, assuming a good working relationship.
