tl;dr: Uber switched to mysql because in their particular case postgres had some issues. Postgres guys acknowledged the issues without trying to refute them with cheap rhetorics (GG postgres team). The actual kernel of the whole debacle is that Uber is trying to solve a problem not in the correct/best way and at some point mysql will fail too.
Probabil că în cazul lor particular are sens. Nu e valabil pentru toată lumea. Şi important e că se gândesc la o soluţie.
