We are seeking for Database Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing, developing, and implementing solutions based on Redshift and Postgres SQL that meet project specifications and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- During the initial phase of the role, the candidate will focus on learning the environment and the logic of the application, as well as bug-fixing and development of small features. This critical learning period will prepare the candidate for more complex responsibilities as they grow in the role.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement database solutions using Redshift and/or Postgres SQL.
- Effectively use Git, Microsoft Office Suite, Amazon Redshift, and similar languages/tools.
- Handle high-pressure situations, especially during release periods where work volume and stress can increase.
- Adapt to a flexible, loosely structured management style and be proactive in communication.
- Collaborate with team members while also having the ability to work independently.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Solid SQL development experience, with proficiency in Redshift and/or Postgres SQL including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Strong knowledge of Git, Microsoft Office Suite, AWS (S3/Amazon Redshift), PG SQL, or similar languages.
- Experience with database load testing is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and effectively translate them into technical specifications.
- Stable work history, preferably holding positions for more than a year to ensure depth of experience and ability to contribute to projects beyond the onboarding phase.
