Ma tot gandesc sa instalez Xen pe desktop si sa virtualizez tot:

  • dom0 Debian cu Xen instalat ruland pe iGPU din CPU
  • 1 * HVM cu windows 10 + GPU pass-thru via VT-d et al
  • n * PV linux VMs - pt. munca

pros:

  • snapshots
  • near native performance on the GPU side (i.e. Steam)
  • awesome Linux performance

cons:

  • might be tricky to do - back-up everything
  • special hardware

  • get cheap Ryzen 8c/16t
  • install Linux distro with latest kernel
  • update BIOS
  • IOMMU all the things (GPU, NVMe drive)
    => profit.
