Description
SuperAwesome powers the youth digital media ecosystem, which is used by hundreds of brands and content owners. Our award-winning technology provides the tools for safer, responsible digital engagement with almost half a billion young people worldwide every month. At the intersection of technology, law, media and policy, working with us gives you a chance to shape what the internet of the future looks like.
Our customers are focused on successfully engaging with the global under-18 audience, and so we try to bring the behaviours of that audience to our own work. We move at speed, we’re curious, we’re innovators.
In this role, you will:
● You’ll join a team committed to high-speed iterations, high code quality, and continuous improvement via agile processes
● While most of the work is on the back-end of our systems, you’ll work across the full application stack depending on where you can drive the highest impact
● You’ll work with your team to design and implement features and services for the product your team owns, and keep the design choices well documented and explained
● You’ll drive quality and reliability from the get go, lowering the complexity of the system
● You will master the domains you’ll be working on, and will break complex goals down to simple and easy-to-maintain deliverables
● You’ll ensure long-term quality, scalability and maintainability of our systems
● You’ll champion the devops culture, treat operations with a mission-critical mindset, and support the live system in production, including participation in our out-of-hours on-call rota
